The $7 Secrets Report is based more or less on sharing.

 Jonathan's book encompasses an easy affiliate program designed around $7 reports of which it claims simply you can actually make a decent living. But can you?

Jonathan Leger's $7 Secrets Report is a win-win situation. You get ahead while your affiliates get ahead. You gain golden emails and your affiliates gain 100% of the affiliate profit.

$7 Secrets Report takes a more practical approach than the hard sell product out there. Sell as an affiliate for 100% commission, or provide an Informational product and gain only emails, giving 100% profit to your affiliate. Simple and effective marketing.

Jonathan's site has been up for a month and I can assure you that he made quite a lot of money. And you can capitalize on the basic format of his "genius" but I have a dire warning.

Although the "idea" is sound, his process is severely flawed. I have been to his site, and more recently "clones" of his site. Everyone who sells with this $7 Secrets uses Jonathans script - and here lies the first of several problems.

By using this $7 Secrets script, provided free by Jonathan, the customers can actually get the book for almost free - paying nothing to the affiliate. They can also bypass the requirement of the "opt-in" signup to the merchant. I have found this in over 90% of the books that can be purchased.

How? I discovered the error by accident. I went to the 7 dollar site to honestly purchase a book I thought my customers would be interested in. This is what I do, evaluate products and recommend the best to my customers. When I got to the PayPal checkout, I tried to buy the book using my paypal account and it stated I couldn't buy the book from myself.

What? I looked at the top of the form and sure enough, I was buying the book from myself. Now Jonathan immediately updated the script which states that you must first buy the book in order to sell it. That is true. But what's to prevent you from buying it from yourself?

The script is flawed**. Severely Flawed. In fact, it is so flawed, I was able to buy the book from myself, only paying 50 cents. And the 50 cents goes directly to PayPal as a fee. Plus, most of the merchants don't realize that the download link is sent via email, so the signup is pointless. Only twice did I find that the merchant was clever enough to require my signup before I got the download link. And of the two, only one required my opt-in.

Lastly, your download link is not encrypted.** So once it is given to the customer, what is to prevent him from publicaly posting the link for anyone to download. I am not talking about the link in the email, I am talking about the actual download link on the page - normally to a PDF or ZIP file.

So, the win-win situation does not pertain to the affiliate/merchant. It pertains to you. Another flaw is refunds. If the book is sold thourgh an affiliate, it is the merchant that must refund the money. This means you, the merchant, not only gave away 100% of your profit, you may be out the $7 cost of the book should someone want a refund. The affiliate gains the full amount, not matter what.

All-in-all, I am here to evaluate the book and it's basic premise is accurate. However, it just says, that ebooks, information books, sell. And they do.

I'm sure you can afford to drive the $7 Secrets Report. You'll find the information enclosed in this report worth much more than $7. I just recommend you do not use the script he offers. Also, Do Not put your hard work on his site for sale. To do this you are required to use his script.

I do recommend if you have a book you can afford to lose the profit and not gain customers, then put it on his site. You will gain traffic, and that may be worth the trouble.

I also recommend if you want to offer your book for 100% affiliate resale, use a shopping cart specifically setup to give your affiliates 100% of the profit. It is secure and more accurate, and your affiliates will get the money they deserve. As far as selling other books, you can if you wish, but be aware that if they are using Jonathan's script - you will probably lose most of the money you are trying to earn.
